Swedish / Relaxation Massage - A relaxation massage helps de-stress and loosen up your body and is great for those who have had a hard working week or feel like treating themselves to some TLC! The treatment consists of flowing strokes, kneading and gentle manipulations of the muscles performed at your chosen pressure. It is a pain-free way to relax both your muscles and your mind.

Hot Stone - An upper body or full body massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or places them on tight areas of the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat from the stones penetrates deep into tight muscles to help them relax and feel rejuvenated. Some Massage Therapists use the hot stones as tools during other types of therapeutic massage.

Aromatherapy Massage - The treatment or prevention of disease by use of essential oils. This modality is usually integrated into a Relaxation or Swedish massage.

Prenatal Massage - A massage especially designed for pregnancy, prenatal massage is becoming popular with expectant mothers. She is positioned and supported during the massage to ensure comfort and techniques are modified. This type of massage is used to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains, and reduce anxiety and depression.

Sports Massage - Agape Chiropractic & Massage Center Great for athletes who need help recovering from an intense athletic event or help loosening trouble spots. This can relieve muscle soreness, increase muscle performance and recovery, motion and flexibility by using a series of stretches, range of motion movements and specific relaxation techniques.

Deep Tissue - A more specific type of massage that is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue (fascia) in a designated area. This type of massage focuses on the muscles below the surface of the top muscles.

Myofascial Release - A gentle, hands-on technique that involves applying a gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial (connective tissue) restrictions to relax contracted muscles, eliminate pain, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles, restoring once restricted motion.

Reiki - (Ray-key) is an oriental energy work that promotes healing and encourages growth and change by removing blockages to the body's energy flow. It can be done above the body in the energy field or actually by hands on. It is non-invasive and safe for all. 

Trigger Point Therapy - Trigger Points are tiny knots that develop in a muscle due to injury, repetitive muscle stress, repetitive mechanical stress, or poor posture. Trigger points are an extremely common cause of pain. They are known to cause headaches, neck and jaw pain, low back pain and symptoms that can be misdiagnosed as tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome to name a few. Trigger Point therapy can assist with the healing of muscles and/ or restore motions to joints.

Kinesiology Taping - Kinesiology taping is therapeutic taping for sports performance, sports injuries, pain management, physical therapy, and more.
